These thumb grips are great for the price. This is a harder rubber, most likely high density TPU. Don't expect them to be soft or pliable like many other brands that use silicone or any other type of rubber. Although they are much less flexible, expect them to last much longer over time and not stretch or weaken. Installation was easy enough. I just squeezed them and had to run my thumb over the edge of the stick a few times with good force to make sure the edge was flush with the ground/ground. Once turned on, they are solid. It can take a while to get used to the texture on the top of the sticks, but when I run my thumb over the top of the grip you can feel that they are actually rubber and not hard plastic like others have claimed. Overall I'd say these are pretty good thumb grips. I've tried many brands including Geltabz, Grip-iT etc and these seem to be my favorites so far. Worth a try at $6 for 2 pairs.
