I bought these to replace the original thumb grip on my Xbox One X controller. It fits over the analog stick but is loose. The handle is made of hard plastic and moves around the racket as you play. It's a hard plastic, not dense rubber, which means it's much easier to tear than rubber. It's just not a quality product. It's not quite hard plastic, it's rubber. However, the rubber feels a bit plastic. They are definitely NOT as soft and grippy as the rubber on the original sticks. In my opinion they were so bad that I just threw them in the trash after trying them. (I already had them over 60 days before I opened the package, otherwise I would have sent them back). These thumb grips are great for the price. This is a harder rubber, most likely high density TPU. Don't expect them to be soft or pliable like many other brands that use silicone or any other type of rubber. Although they are much less flexible, expect them to last much longer over time and not stretch or weaken. Installation was easy enough.
