Review on 🚗 Mishimoto MMRAD-RX8-04 Performance Aluminum Radiator for Mazda RX-8 2004-2011: High Efficiency Cooling Solution by Jamal Sandridge

I ordered this item because I live in Florida where temperatures are fairly to very hot year round so better cooling on the RX8 is a must. Along with this product I received matching fans and a fan cover and low temperature thermostat, all from Mishimoto. As the caption suggests, and as others before me have mentioned, if you want to install it the same way, it takes some pretty serious fabrication. how oem happy. The connectors themselves are fine, although I chose to use a different type of clamp instead of the factory ones to ensure they seal well. I used Mishimoto fans with their matching bracket, mostly screwed well. I disagree with the type of brackets that come with the fans, but in the end the cover went anyway. Irradiation facilities were a whole different beast. The top ones are welded so close to the radiator housing that I couldn't get them to sit on the stock rubber mounts let alone bolt them on. The lower radiator mounts didn't even come close, they need special ones to support the bike from below. As for the temperature, I'll come back with a review. Unfortunately the thermostat I received was faulty and stayed open the entire time so I cannot give accurate feedback until the issue is resolved. TL;DR: Get ready to fight this at every turn.
