This book was bought for daughters aged 1 and 3 years. Clifford is always a welcome figure in our household and this book will easily become a new favorite. What I really appreciate is that Clifford tries to help/do good deeds throughout the story (unfortunately he has a lot of accidents along the way, which makes more work to do). As a mother of two, I see a parallel between Clifford's attempts to "helpโ and "helpingโ my children. It was actually a good start for a discussion on how accidents happen and how frustrating life can be when things don't go so smoothly. In the end, Clifford saves the day by saving the kids from a house fire. Also brings a happy ending with good morals to finish this book. I highly recommend this story to all the "little helpers" in your life.
