Review on 🌙 Umbra Twilight Single Curtain Rod Set - Perfect for Blackout or Room Darkening Panels, Adjustable 28-48 inch, Nickel Finish by Chris Maurer

The curtain rod itself looks lovely and the curved edges really allow our blackout curtain to fully illuminate the room. My reason for 3 stars is that our rod arrived without a piece. This element is fixed to the wall, so the cornice remains firmly attached to the wall. The design is pretty neat and very clean, but if you're missing any of the three backplates, you won't be able to complete the installation. I contacted Umbra directly and received an email response promptly. I confirmed what we need and confirmed the address. Now 2 weeks later we still have not received this back plate and all email attempts to contact customer support again have gone unanswered. This piece is relatively small (1.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide) and could have been stuffed into an envelope and into my house by now, but we're still waiting. Edit, January 2019. I ended up getting a whole cornice from the manufacturer. . I think they sent me a different size curtain rod on purpose so I wouldn't have two of the same size and use them both. Instead they sent me a much smaller version of the same rod with two legs instead of three. I swiped one of these new shorter rods and was finally able to fully install a blackout curtain in my living room. We bought in April 2018 and received a shorter rod a month later. I just wanted to update my review. I give another star.
