Polyethylene and polypropylene are not the same. The copolymer is polypropylene with one molecule of ethylene. There are random and block copolymers. It's from China so I don't know if it's a language barrier or something. But this is a polypropylene stick, and it's not even of very good quality. I spend about 300 pounds 5/32 rods a year. I am a certified dvs welder at hshw on pe. That would be a great support material for tomatoes or something. I don't know if I'll weld anything with it. The sweat test showed that it was polypropylene. No polyethylene.
