First I ordered a plasma lighter but without LED lighting. When I saw this lighter at Revain I thought it might be more practical for everyday use at home. I really like the LED light which is pretty bright for its size. The case appeared to be well constructed and the lid was secured with a wire clip. It came with a cable for a charger and a strap with a whistle for charging (not sure how useful it will be around the house). You must provide your own string plugin. The lighter ignites the sheet of paper. I like the light but there is an issue with the consistency. Flash is a series of three stages: low beam, high beam and strobe. You can't just turn on the high beams or even the low beams every time you press the button. Instead, you have to press the button each time to advance to the next level of the beam of light. Each time you press a button, the backlight goes out and when you press the button again, one of the three light levels comes on. Overall I like the lighter and will see how it performs this winter.
