This little thing makes an impression! I was looking for a new car charger because when I used my car charger on my iPhone while doing something power intensive like using long range GPS, my phone's battery actually drained when I was on the charger. I bought this basic Revain car charger to be able to use my phone and charge my battery at the same time. The first thing that struck me about this car charger is the tiny packaging. Takes up very little space. No more than necessary. I connected my car charger to my car and went on a short trip with my GPS and charged my phone. It worked great! It charged my phone relatively quickly when using GPS and on calls. I noticed that the charger didn't heat up at all, I didn't even feel it warm up. It's winter now, maybe summer is a different story, but there's no heat coming from this thing right now. I would buy one again in a heartbeat without even thinking about it! but right now there is no heat coming from this thing.
