Review on VCAN VX Lightweight Full Face Motorcycle Street Bike Helmet: DOT & ECE 22.05 Approved, with Extra Tinted Visor by Shane Jess

I have had several motorcycle helmets in my life. The older I get, the more I think about their function and not their fashion. But this one is striking in both looks/comfort and (hopefully) functionality. The backlight green doesn't exactly match the color of my jacket, but it's close enough to work for me. What I love about this helmet is that the nose and mouth sections seem to have their own pockets to keep the visor from fogging up. Haven't tried it on a hot and humid day, but seems to work fine at home. And the rest of the helmet has vents to allow air to flow through the visor, so it should at least work fine when moving around. What I don't like is the padding. I have a big head but the forehead pad is hard and tight. I give it time to break in and you definitely want a helmet that fits well and doesn't sag, so I haven't deducted a star yet. What about the protection? Who knows. I know I don't want to find out, but if I fall, at least I'll have more than a bucket of brains.
