First off, not that it made up or affected my review, the ice bandana I ordered was red and black and the one I received was gray and black . I don't care, didn't even remember ordering the red/black until I went back to Revain to check and see my original order. But still I didn't get exactly what I ordered so I thought I should mention it. Ice Bandana works very well, although as another Ice Bandana reviewer mentioned, it works best if you wet the terry side, which was never suggested in the product instructions. It's comfortable to wear and helps keep you cool. I won't say cool because when you're working outdoors in Florida in the dead of summer, nothing keeps you cool like a fully air-conditioned moon suit. quickly. I keep my ice bandana in our large freezer at work, which is slightly colder than the freezer in your regular household refrigerator. On a hot Florida summer day, the ice stays for about an hour at most—far less than the advertised "hours" of cooling. Still, it's far more effective than those gel-lined bandanas that have to be soaked in water and then thrown around your neck - no wonder, given that they work by evaporative cooling and in our typical summer climate. Humidity level, evaporation is not strong. I recommend Ice Bandana, and I also recommend buying a few spare ice packs so you can easily switch ice packs once the ones you're using melt.
