Review on π₯ Reusable Heat Resistant Craft Mat - 3 Pack PTFE Teflon Sheet for Heat Press Transfer Sheet, Non Stick 16 x 20", Heat Transfer Paper by Kim Sanchez
Good 3 mile release film but not glossy.
Sheets are approximately 70 microns / 0.0028 inch thick. The fabric is woven from flat threads (fiberglass?) and then apparently coated with Teflon, making the surface fairly smooth but not "optically smooth". ." Obvious surface texture visible under a jeweler's loupe. Possibly +/- 10 microns on each side. Both sides look the same. 185F; short fiberglass strands (?) Teflon coating prevents further abrasion, but that should be understood the edge is not a perfectly clean cut This should not matter for most applications.
