I never liked the Harmon Kardon speakers in the car and replaced the front speakers with 5.5" Alpine speakers with positive results but I still got distortion and dips, when I turned up the volume. Stereo. I came across these at a great price and they exceeded my expectations for PYLE. The PYLE's low mids and lows sound deep and clear, and the volume is much higher than expected. I would recommend this brand and size for a subwoofer box upgrade - at least for mine - a 1998 BMW Z3.
