Cuisinart CPT-180 Metal Classic 4 Slice Brushed Stainless Steel Toaster is the best toaster I have found after researching Revain and other websites and stores like BestBuy and Bed, Bath & Beyond - First and foremost, it toasts the bread properly - evenly and without over-drying the bread. I also tried the Kenmore Elite 76774 4 Slice Auto Crack Toaster with Long Stainless Steel Slot but I returned it because it dried out the toast too much and it was huge and taking up a lot of countertop space. - Not too big - never understand why some toasters are as big as a toaster oven or small microwave. This is a simple device. The CuisineArt Toaster is just the right size. Beautiful design with retro elements. Affordable average price. Practically 2-3 times cheaper than expensive non-professional toasters like Breville etc per week. I cannot comment on the reliability of the product or the quality of CuisineArt's customer support. The future will show. :)
