Review on Metra 70-6510 Wiring Harness: Perfect Fit for 2002-2004 Dodge Ram with Infiniti System by Matthew Sytniak

First of all I would like to point out that the 70-6510 WORKS with a 2004 Ram 1500 WITH Infinity and NO speakerphone. My mirror did NOT have a "phone icon" or anything like that. I also had an RB4 navigation (thought it was broken, turns out it was probably a shorted tweeter). Anyway, I took another reviewer's advice and looked at my amp behind the glove box before ordering - I saw 2 plugs. So order this one. I had quite a few unused wires but if you start with the radio wiring harness you will see that no additional services are required. The longest part of the setup was to disconnect the necessary cables from the amp. This is extremely difficult. Of course I didn't want to take out the fan and such, but I managed without breaking the straps. This wiring harness has a TON of lengths of wires. I also didn't bother wiring the steering wheel controls, but there's a separate module for that (about $100). Finally, I was surprised at how good the speakers sounded once installed. I read the reviews and thought it wouldn't sound good without the Dash speakers, but it sounds good to me.
