Lightweight and useful for smoothing out frizz

Years ago I had a Conair heat brush and was looking for a replacement. I was glad to find this, especially at this price. At my local Sally makeup store, they were selling Helen of Troy for about $45! As a side note, I have very thick, wavy or curly hair that's very frizz-prone, so I use it after blow drying it thoroughly to smooth out the kinks. Here are some pros and cons of this brush since I've used it once. : Advantages. The bristles remain stiff, they do not kink or bend when moved and heated. Lightweight and easy to use by simply holding the handle. Heat, the higher the number, the higher the heat) Easy to comb the curves and all parts of my hair. The metal part gets hot and you have to be more careful where you put your hands. The hot air brush only had two settings (high or low) and never got too hot, making it safer to use. This makes me nervous because I think it can get up to 300 degrees on the highest setting. The cool tip doesn't stay cold even on the medium setting I use. .

Pros
  • 25 heat settings for all hair types
Cons
  • Negative impression
