Minus 1 star for reliability: I could give a higher rating but we keep having to reset (cycle off and on) after some idle time. Minus 1 star for the quality: The picture quality wasn't great at first, but if you set the quality to the highest level, it's ok. The preset is not very clear and too bright. Minus 1-2 stars for consumables: changing the toner is a headache. The non-canon toner doesn't seem to work due to an error as it is a non-canon brand. These expensive chip toners are 4-6 times more expensive than off-brand versions. The printer is able to print a few pages, but later refuses to work. The only way out is to try the ridiculously expensive Canon, which ends up costing more than the printer. Same problem with other brands including Brother and HP. My next purchase will be an Epson tankless printer as it lasts a year and bottles are not that expensive.
