I use professional industrial hygiene sound level meters at work. I calibrated both with a pure audio source and found this VLIKE SLM to be consistently off by 3-5dB. Also the reaction varied a lot compared to the quest I brought home from work. I think it's ok for a cheap instrument if you just want a rough idea of the sound levels but the electronics aren't high quality. Again, cheap is too cheap.
