This is a great basic model. They are soft and hold their shape well. No fading. We have a size 6 for my (recently) 7 year old. She weighs about 42 pounds and is 44.5 inches tall. She is slim and usually wears XS-S or 6 on most other brands. Sizes 6-7 are mostly too big for her at the moment. on the smaller side and I'd be happy if you're in between. They are just below the knee. The whites are a bit see-through, but she still wears something over them. We had a few loose threads but overall they have held up to some wear and tear, I would order again.
