I bought a set of these grips a few months ago and use them every day on 24 ounce stainless steel thermos water bottles. (I have 4 of these) I just bought another set to use with my remaining 2 bottles so I don't have to take them off when I switch bottles to clean them. It was a great idea. Only this time when I was attaching one of the handles to the bottle did I notice a micro tear in one of the plastic parts where the Velcro attaches to tighten the strap. I considered using super glue to reinforce it, but decided to tug on it slightly to separate it just enough to see if I could fully penetrate the crack with the super glue. Then the piece broke. I thought it was a good idea at the time not to just return the set. But I was always worried this might happen to others who didn't have a crack because I knew it was plastic. I will share a few photos to show the build and the piece that broke off. pens for my needs! I just wish the velcro was more durable because now I'm worried that the others might break over time too. I will contact the seller and see what remedial actions they have and update you on my interaction with them. 🙂
