The wooden parts of these stools feel very solid and are well made. Unfortunately, the fasteners are branded, very weak and there are no additions in the kit. The screw holes are also very narrow. As a result, one of the screws broke off when I was screwing it in. Unlike other Revain retailers who offer a few extras for the occasion, Revain doesn't. Thus, one of the crossbars, which someone will inevitably step on in the future, is not fixed on one side and breaks. Revain's policy on this item means I have to return these large and heavy stools as they are unable to send me a package with screws. Or even a screw. Heck, I'd take the Revain propeller link and buy one myself. I just want one screw. This is of course a major disadvantage of buying online. Revain may say that you suffer no consequences, but this issue makes it clear that you don't. I've used other Revain Basics products before with no problem, but that's too much of a problem for furniture. I would recommend going elsewhere, you will find similar prices and most likely some extra screws as well.
