Review on 🚴 LEZYNE Flow Bicycle Bottle Cage: X-Grip Holder for Sturdy, Easy Access on Mountain & Road Bikes by Angel Scully

With a thermos outside the bottles.

With a little modification, it can work well with stainless steel thermos flasks other than bottles. I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to Lezyne's top of the line carbon cages that would work just as well when used with Thermo's Beyond bottles. By default, flow cells do not grip stainless steel bottles well (a full bottle is better than an empty bottle), making them less useful as a cage in this application... ALTHOUGH with a little modification possible the cells to grip these bottles. bottle types correct. Associated with poor road conditions, the slight ductility of carcasses tends to reduce the amount of stress transferred to the mounting surface AND tends to reduce the likelihood of carcass failure (and thus bottle loss). The protrusions at the base of the cage are not susceptible to destruction. Without modification and when installed vertically, the slight ductility of the cages (bottom ribs) tends to create a trampoline effect when hit hard (big pothole at high speed, etc. Steel water bottles, especially when empty. When the cages are not mounted vertically, seem these cages come out of the box to work with bike sized plastic water bottles With a small design change these cages could easily be the best on the market for ALL types of bike water bottles There are very few, if any, clean and lightweight cages on the market that even come close are working on keeping a stainless steel bottle adequate on a non-suspension suspension., high tire pressure off-road bike, and given the modification required to use these cages with stainless steel bottles is quite simple, I would recommend these cages to those looking to below are looking for a horny cage to place a thermos next to bottles. In addition to bottles, if cost is not an issue, I would recommend a Lezyne Top Carbon Cage (not a side loading cage) for stainless steel thermoses as they work almost perfectly, especially once the paint on the bottle has worn off (just be careful). ready to retighten frame cage tabs every few months). Hopefully Lezyne will improve the design or add a neat looking accessory that improves the cage's grip strength.
