I usually wear a size 7.5 but for these I chose a size 8 and they fit perfectly. To say they were comfortable is such an understatement. I've worn these hikes, snorkels and just basic clothing and have literally ZERO complaints. The upper of the shoe is made of elastic material, soft and comfortable on the foot. I was confused as to what the inside of the soles of the shoes looked like and my honest first impression was that there was no way they could be comfortable and damn I was wrong. My feet felt so comfortable and even after a long walk, my feet felt good. Putting them on the pipes made them feel secure on their feet and gave extra protection from sharp rocks underneath. They dried out pretty quickly after being in the river all day. I may have to buy a pair of each color. I can't recommend it enough!
