I'm a fan of laundry bags - they are great for sorting and making laundry easier. Top-loading washing machines are particularly bad at washing clothes, so I've used them to wash shirts, woolen socks, and sweaters. I bought the big ones, this one and the 24x32 (I don't dry clean). Larger sizes allow plenty of room for water and dry air to circulate. Grow! I don't recommend the honeycomb style - they don't last a few years, they wear out and clothes stick to them. Get a fine mesh without grabbing the fabric. The zip has a little stretch pocket to keep them from unraveling in the wash which is a nice feature.
