They work but the cotton swab is so thin you don't have much room to wrap it around your nail I find. Use of cotton balls covering the nail like a "cushion". I feel like it's like a hard blanket but it still works, but I'm thinking what if the cotton was a little "fluffier". I've been doing my own nails for over 30 years. When applying nail polish remover you don't use a lot which is nice but then I feel like the cotton doesn't soak as it should without losing liquid in the process. I bought this hoping I wouldn't have to use cotton balls and foil, which was nice. If I run out of this box, can I order plastic nail clips and use them with cotton balls? They get the job done, but when you wrap your hands, it's difficult to do both at the same time.
