Review on Ztotop Released Rugged Protector Designed by Eric Hanson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great case, heavy but great protection.

I love this case. I am usually very picky about my electronics and wanted to protect my $1600 investment as much as possible. I got into this after several other cases, and the man needs to put an end to all the rest. The case has very thick raised edges that help protect the screen as well as the pen and camera. There is a problem area. There are raised edges where the stylus attaches and it is designed to make accessing the stylus easy and comfortable. But at the same time, there's an area equal to the length of the stylus, and if you drop it on the corner or edge of something, all hits fall on the stylus and on the iPad. But it has to be the worst case scenario, like a sideways fall onto a curb or something crazy. It's not exactly lightweight like the iPad 12.9, but if you're looking for the best possible protection, then this is for you. The inner lining is a soft material to absorb shock and protect against scratches on the back of the device. It's a little tight and I was able to put my screen protector on, which made the built-in moot, so I took it off. Overall, for the money, this is the best shockproof case you can get. It might not be waterproof or ultra-light, but if you drop it, you'll be fine.
