This is for macOS and UV-5R
Originally spent money on a cable that cost twice as much and stopped working after a week. Went to the Boafeng store on Revain and bought this cable. It is plug and play with macOS 10.12.6 Sierra. Plug it into a USB port, launch Chirp, select a USB port and away you go. It works. No need to download drivers, no fiddling with installers, no brew, just plug it in and it works! The only minor downside is the lack of Tx/Rx LED indicators. But with such reliability they are not needed.
