Ground wires are very short (about 2 inches) so the slightest gust of wind will blow them away. I broke the cross trying to lightly push the pin into the soil (the soil was wet and very loose). I glued it together using a paint stirrer for support. They have good detailing so I think I'll "boost" them a bit with thicker foam on the back and better support when pushing into the ground. I confess I didn't read the size when I ordered and they are a lot smaller than I expected. I think I'll put them in the back of my cemetery display case. Maybe the small size plays a forced perspective, making my display look bigger?
