The hardest part is connecting the positive terminal to the battery. Cable connectors could be better. So far there are no problems. 2nd evaluation: If it was installed without problems for more than a year, then about 3 months ago a brake light on the trailer did not work. I knew it was the wiring or wiring system because I hooked the trailer up to another truck and the lights on the trailer worked fine. I spotted smoke outside today only to find the PSU melted and my SUV filled with smoke. My brake light wires melted and thank goodness I managed to cut all the wires before it caught fire. The SUV was not on and nothing was connected to the headlights. This is a poor quality product that failed and could burn my SUV to the ground.
