I live outside of all internet services except satellite. I use a 4G hotspot for all connected devices. At first I was skeptical about this type of installation. The price was less than the cancellation fee for a crappy satellite service. Use my phones with a prepaid SIM without a contract. I halved the ping and multiplayer games are fun again. It is easy to see that all indicators are lit. PS4 connected. It was a hassle to set up, the instructions only helped set up the device itself with no maintenance. Google your ISP's APN settings, then add a new APN setting with that information. Speed was slower than my factory direct Pixel hotspot but still over 25Mbps which is good enough for streaming and gaming! Must be controlled by browser login to connect each time the device is powered off and on again.
