The chain doesn't weigh a joke, but it gets lighter over time. This is the second time I'm buying this lock ONLY because I left the chain locked at a construction site (for 2 days, stupid move) while I was taking my bike elsewhere and they cut it with something resembling a torch have after the incisors are not broken. It is clear that only super-strong tools that common thieves do not carry will be able to break this lock. For 5 years it has withstood corners without cameras, areas with increased theft and all sorts of spontaneous greedy scumbags. On 06/11/2020 at 2 a.m. a passer-by grabbed my bike from my terrace without seeing the chain attached to the saddle. He didn't go 3 feet trying to ride it, the chain got tangled in the pedals so he dropped the bike and I lost it as he ran away on foot. Even not locked at anchor, THIS LOCK WORKS.
