I have purchased many "Amazon Basic" items over the years and have generally found them to be of good quality and functional. These cables are the exception. As soon as I opened the box, I could smell the toxic chemical odor of raw rubber. The smell is strong enough, I had to take her out of the house. I can't imagine if I would have left them in a closed space like a car. I had to return them and buy another brand.
