I love old iOttie bindings so I bought these. Minimalist design and it works with my iPhone 12 mini. After reading some of the negative comments, I have collected the following main complaints: - magnets not strong enough - charging cable design - mounting solution (suction cup) does not work properly I don't want to downplay these complaints, but as a consumer: you need to make sure that they are research the product properly to make sure it fits their car and their needs. Therefore, I will address each complaint above. Just my opinion, so it's different for everyone- magnets aren't strong enough: You must use the metal plates included in the kit. If you try to simply use the phone without the metal plates that come with it, your phone will fall off. The magnets are strong but are located on the bottom of the charger. So if you have a phablet (a tablet-sized phone), it's too heavy for the top of the phone to slide off. However, there's a sticky rubber pad on the top of the charger here that should prevent that from happening. You need to clean this sticky rubber pad from time to time or it won't grip your phone. If you have a phablet, you might want to consider something else. Latest news! sucking suckers! You are not working. I bought an air vent mount as I've never had success with suction cup mounts. Either the suction cups will stop sucking due to the temperature change inside the car, or the adhesive will come off the bracket, etc. So if your car can't install the air vent bracket, you may need another solution (such as a suction cup bracket). on holder, holder for cd, fixed installation with screws (ugh!). The ventilation bracket suits me. so that it heats up the charger/phone. Air conditioning is ok in summer as it blows cold air. Be aware that an air vent can render it completely useless depending on your car's air vent design. Luckily this one works great with mine where I can still control the louvers on the vent.
