it will not break during its lifetime
I hated using plastic levers as they break easily with hard clinchers. This product is made of steel, don't worry about breaking. . I was afraid it might scratch the rim but it didn't or it was minor, especially on my already scratched MTB rim. Would buy again if needed but will probably last a lifetime.
