Under no circumstances should you send your pet to any of these. We sent our cat to the Philippines on a 16 hour flight. We were on a flight. I was worried the whole flight as it was his first trip. We entered baggage claim and were told we needed to speak to the monitor. My heart sank. We got to the supervisor who told us that the stretcher had fallen apart and our cat spent the entire flight with the luggage. He was fine. I don't even know how he survived in the low oxygen levels and colder temperatures. He was sitting on the luggage when the door opened. He could easily leak and get lost on the runway. I was so angry that I bought such a terrible carrier. I read reviews and sometimes it's necessary not to follow the reviews. So much so that in my case. Just taking the animal to the vet or going for a walk will work. But there are also more durable variants. The photo was taken after it was reassembled with nylon straps.
