With the ignition on and the engine off, this sensor pulsed my injectors, the fuel pump ran non-stop, the ignition coil fired and the magneto in my transmission pulsed. This resulted in fuel entering the cylinders with no engine rotation. This is a very bad condition and should never happen with the engine off. This hydro blocked my engine. I had to turn the engine over with a ratchet and change the oil twice to pour the fuel out of the crankcase. If I realized what happened it could have ruined my engine! My old original sensor still works perfectly. I only changed it because it has 239,000 miles and I wanted to replace the timing chain. I spent a lot of time and money because of the $9 Chinese mailbox!
