Supports USB 3.1 Gen 2

I am using this adapter to convert my USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port to USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C to power my external monitor. That works great! Supports at least 3 amps (otherwise my monitor wouldn't work!) Good material and looks like a solidly built adapter. I wish there was a shorter option, but its length is probably related to the Gen 2 chip inside. I can confirm that it works at full speed with USB 3.1 Gen 2. I'm getting over 700MB/s reading and writing to my external drive. Reliable adapter!
