Review on Eccotemp EM-4.0 Electric Mini Tank Water Heater - 4.0-Gallon Capacity by Tuan Core

Very happy with this product. We have a cabin in the woods that used to be off the grid, so the hot water system is an Ecotemp demand water heater powered by a propane tank. The kitchen is quite far from the pump room, and I've always had trouble getting hot water in the kitchen - either for a long time, or the pilot isn't working (insufficient water flow through the unit). NOW hot water flows from the kitchen faucet. Few things to know Once you start using the water, be aware that your water heater will enter COLD water and after a few minutes the water will become lukewarm. This is exactly how we built our system. We use a cold water line, not a hot water line, so we can stop fiddling with gas from our system when needed. Water source and we don't have the problems we have, I'm sure you will hardly notice the change in water temperature if your heater fills up with hot water instead of cold. So. For those who want to use this as their only source of hot water or have an odd setup like ours, keep that in mind. I still give 5 stars! Even if I have to wait a few minutes for the water heaters to return to HOT mode to start the dishwasher, it's a mile away from the hot water issues I've had in our cabin for years.
