Good product! I am very comfortable.

We have been using it for 2 months. Works perfectly, installed in 30 minutes. I use it for showers, dishes etc. 2.5 gallons isn't much but it heats up again in 10-15 minutes. I set the thermostat to about 75% max.

  • A sea of positive emotions

Nicely designed high visibility modeling light 'on' - easy to adjust

Had a 4 gallon electric Ariston for many years to supplement central 'hot' water in the apartment - replaced with Bosch Ariston bought were problems - so I try this device. Build quality seems better than Bosch at this point, easy to connect, interesting to see how the unit ages - there's Clearwave electronic air conditioning in the line which helps with extremely hard water - somehow the design is a lot better than the ugly Bosch - the old Ariston looks cool -

  • Dope 🔥
Cons

Quality product and easy installation.

I installed this in my small RV to provide hot water without burning propane. At just 30 amps, a tankless device just wasn't possible. Installation is insanely easy. Just install a safety valve, 2 water connections and plug it in. It heats water very quickly and at full power, 4 gallons of hot water is enough to enjoy a quick shower. They need to reduce the chill in the shower a bit, but this allows me to get about 5 minutes of shower time before the tank water is even warm.

Great for water heaters, parts and accessories

Bought to replace the gas water heater on my old Burro RV. I used some shark fittings and adjusted the backflow through the drain on my old water heater, which allowed me to leave the old heater in place by simply shutting off the supply valve. I install the heater outside of the camper and connect the flexible pipe (hose) to the campground water supply and the supply pipe (heat resistant rubber hose) to the drain of the old heater. This doubles the amount of hot water in the storage tanks…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Decent heater suitable for plumbing

Bought this on the recommendation of my builder/plumber to install with a new sink that sits at the opposite end of the house (floor below) diagonally from the water heater. So I didn't want to wait 2-4 minutes to get hot water. It works well, definitely quiet, plug and play was very easy. The only downside is that I underestimated how small 4 gallons really are. I set the water temp just below max and only get hot/warm water for about 1-2 minutes before noticing a distinct chill going almost…

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Speed of operation

Hot water with instant steam!

Very happy with this product. We have a cabin in the woods that used to be off the grid, so the hot water system is an Ecotemp demand water heater powered by a propane tank. The kitchen is quite far from the pump room, and I've always had trouble getting hot water in the kitchen - either for a long time, or the pilot isn't working (insufficient water flow through the unit). NOW hot water flows from the kitchen faucet. Few things to know Once you start using the water, be aware that your water…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Instantaneous water heater + high efficiency washing machine = you need it

We have replaced our water heaters with a tankless Rinnai system. We then got a new HE washer + dryer. Little did we know that HE washing machines and instantaneous water heaters are incompatible. You cannot wash clothes in hot water, since the HE washing machine allows water to pass through it in small jets. In a tankless system, the water never flows long enough to warm up. This type of device is the only workaround to supply hot water to a washing machine. Appears to be of high quality. It…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Firstly the water heater is well made and insulated. The device works as advertised and hookup was easy. Fittings are made of plastic, so care must be taken not to twist threads or over-tighten connections. Be sure to route the dishwasher inlet hose to the outlet of the mini tank when installing the mini tank as a booster. I did not give the Eccotemp 4.0 gallon mini tank 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. The unit is large and has a large relief valve on top. I installed it in a cupboard…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Good but not great
