Oh my god. Where should I start. I have expensive hair extensions on coarse and thick hair. I suffer from wet weather poodle syndrome, I really needed a good product to control it. After trying Alterna's Caviar kit, which didn't help much, I bought the whole Ouidad kit. I take very good care of these hair extensions by brushing them twice a day. 2 minutes after the first shampoo I felt big thick knots in my hair. I'm telling you, it was like my hair was moving on its own and winding around other hairs - I guess there's no better way to put it. I thought it was just my impression. I put conditioner on which made things a lot worse. Big nodes are a nightmare for people with extensions. I had to use a Loreal keratin mask and comb it, but it didn't untie the knots, it took more work. I dried it and found three huge knots on my back, which I spent about an hour untying, breaking my hair (and the back of my neck) in the process. This has never happened to me with any product before. It practically destroys your extensions and simply makes management impossible. I was heartbroken and exhausted. I think I asked the community if it's suitable for hair extensions and someone said yes. Well, now you know the truth! Also, it did NOTHING to help frizz or protect my hair from moisture. It just felt like wax. Luckily I was able to get them all back.
