Although it advertises brown and silver/light grey, the brown side is supposed to be used. The stitching is brown, so the silver side has brown stitching. There is a logo on the brown side. I would have preferred not to have the stamped logo on it. The surface is smooth but not as smooth as a mouse pad. A little friction interferes with the mouse's precise movements to the point where I had to return to the mouse pad. The bottom is smooth so it slides across the table when I touch it with my hand when I move the mouse. Other pads are thicker/heavier or have a grippy bottom to avoid this. They should have skipped the silver base and used something tangible. The marketing photos are photoshopped using tiny laptops to make them look larger than they really are. The dimensions given in the description are exact: 31.5 x 15.7 inches. The table cover needs to be larger as most of the tables are longer than 31.5 inches. The current price is $12, which is a reasonable price for it. Other products seem almost identical to this one for around the same price. use.
