Review on Danco 46004 REPLACEMENT HANDLE Chrome by Dipp Samrock

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy when you buy new Danco stems

Change : 5 stars to 3 stars. Once installed, I'm not sure if these are the screws that came with the kit or something else, but cold water continues to drip from the faucet. You need to take off the lid and tighten the screw to stop the water from dripping. Also, sometimes for some reason it is difficult to turn on the water because the screw is too tight and the handles don't move. I don't want to call my father-in-law, who works as a plumber, about shower handles. I had already installed new Danko bars on my shower faucet because it was leaking and I also needed new handles. I bought these Danko grips which are perfect for a Danko handle. I played around with the screws and knobs for a while but once I tightened the first one the other 3 were a breeze. The only thing I don't like is that it squeaks when rubbed against the metal surrounding the stem (don't know what it's called). I assume there is some tape that should prevent rubbing. In addition, the faucet handles look good and are durable. It's very important to find a screw that exactly matches the screw on your final pins. I attached the front grips, the stem that fits my valve, and then with the new grips.

Pros
  • COMPATIBILITY: Replacement cross arm faucet handle fits most faucet brands (does not fit Delta and Moen faucets) and is great for 2 and 3 handles
Cons
  • Upgrade option
