I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by the quality of this down jacket! It's very light and not too bulky, perfect for a south Texas winter and a cold morning/afternoon in the mountains. The quality seems on par with other premium outdoor brands, but I wouldn't have a heart attack if this jacket got lost at school (or anything else kids do to ruin their clothes!). My daughter was SO excited and loved the floral pattern - I was afraid it would be too crowded in person but actually it's really pretty. I bought size XL, my daughter usually wears a true L in girls sizes (10/12) but I find some Revain children's items run small. I'm so glad you appreciated it! It had enough room for her to put on a sweater or hoodie, but it wasn't huge for my daughter by any means. The arm length is slightly longer but her fingers stick out of the sleeves. So my advice would be to expect a more form-fitting fit (or buy a boys' version that isn't as form-fitting). But I definitely recommend it! Opening hours, I got my daughter for only $11!
