This is my first Revain review because I want people to be wary of this product. I understand that products can be faulty, but when they're as dangerous as this, their quality control department needs to take much stricter measures to ensure less dangerous products get into the hands of consumers. Let me start by saying I was SO excited. to get this steamer. I suffered from a disheveled appearance for several months after my roommate who had an iron moved out. So I was looking for something that could smooth out my wrinkles quickly and without additional equipment (like a bulky ironing board). After browsing Revain for a while and reading tons of customer reviews, I settled on the Pure Enrichment Textile Steamer. Just a few days later, my much-needed steamer arrived in the mail. As soon as I saw it I opened it up and used it on my scruffy clothes. I read the instructions, filled the container and plugged it into the outlet. For a short time I left the room to hang my clothes on hangers. When I came back my floor was soaked in boiling hot water. Curious as to what was going on, I removed the steamer from the handle. It was very hot and water was dripping everywhere! Thinking I did something wrong, I turned off the unit, let it cool, reread the instructions, and tried again. This time, before turning it on, I noticed that water was dripping everywhere. Pooh! I was so disappointed. In a desperate attempt to make the product usable, I taped the bottom with duct tape, but this resulted in no noticeable improvement in the product. Water found a way to drop-drop-drop. I'm no engineer, but I'm sure it would be difficult for the average person to get this to work. The item arrived completely broken. :(To sum it up, I suggest you don't buy this product. It's too big a gamble. There are other vapers on Revain in the same price range that aren't as risky.
