Well, the photo says it all. I put these blinds up in my kitchen a few months back. I really liked the functionality and initial appearance, but unfortunately trying to clean anything off them at all results in this horrible spotting pattern. I did not use harsh chemicals and they didn't get anything crazy on them - just dust, a few drops of liquid, etc. With any normal blinds you could just wipe or clean them off with soapy water. With these things? Nope, somehow even the mildest of soaps ruins the synthetic material and causes these awful-looking spots to develop. I even tried giving them a bath in detergent water in case it was grease or something that was causing the spots. That did absolutely nothing and the spots/smudges still persist.I am extremely disappointed, to say the least. The real pity is that I like them otherwise. But I cannot recommend.
