I've wanted/needed a place for my wallet and keys for a long time and I've wanted something like this for a long time. I was undecided and didn't have much space until my move. There were many pricier options but at <$30 this one was cheap with features I liked and looked good in photos. So I pulled the trigger. When I received it I was immediately dissatisfied with the quality. There are abrasions on the finish. There is dust in the compartment and on the sides (could be sawdust). The grain is very coarse in many places, which makes it look even dustier. It was really bad quality. I thought about returning it but still liked the price and had some of those "wood repair pens" so I gave it a try. Success with them has been mixed, but it was enough for me to keep it. Luckily, the installation was as easy as I had hoped. As long as you can make and line up two screw holes the right distance apart you should be fine. The attachment points are in the center of the tail which is good for stability but made it a bit difficult to mark their position but not enough to connect any points. It looks good when hanging on the wall. You'll rarely be around for long, or even as close as in the image above, without noticing its flaws. It holds enough weight that I can easily keep my wallet and some hand sanitizer right by the door (thanks to COVID days), and I've also added a small bottle of bug spray in case I go for a walk or bike ride. The magnets are pretty strong and there are a lot of them. I was only able to get it to support its own weight on a metal table leg thanks to the magnets, so I feel like even my slightly heavy keys are fine. It also included some extra magnetic keychains so I added them to my masks (thanks again COVID days) and now I have them right outside the door. It's so easy when I need to get out just to grab the keys and mask at once, detach it from the magnet with a little effort, and honestly I don't notice the key ring on the mask strap at all. After all, you buy cheaper products and really get what you pay for. If you can accept it and it doesn't have to be something you're really into, then this could be perfect for you. It gets 4 stars because I can't find any faults in any respect and it seriously pays off in terms of comfort, which is what I wanted.
