So far, this unit performs as expected. Its a little tall for 13 gal bags, but I just put some of the styrofoam packing material in the bottom and it works fine.I guess they didn't listen to complaints about the sticker on the front, because it is still impossible to remove.The sensor on this one is supposed to be redesigned and better, but I have nothing to compare it to.I'll be shocked if the lid mechanism lasts more than 6 months.I'll refresh this review in 6 mos if I can remember!*UPDATED July 2009*The lid on this cracked and stopped working about a year in - but to be fair, I dropped the top heavy lid unit on the floor.THe only other real complaint I have is that there are alot of catch points in the can that can make it tough to remove the bag. Depending on whats in it, you have to take it slow and wiggle it out to avoid ripping the bag.I'll be replacing this one with a foot pedal can.
