Achim Driftwood 36" x 72" Wireless Bamboo Roller Shades Review Conclusion: If you have no issues with the product or installation and are satisfied with 50% "see through". , that seems like a good hue If you have to contact Achim, you might be very disappointed. Unit #1: 1) The lampshade arrived in a double box (okay) but one end of the shade was removed from the bracket. This removed one side of the strut which was slightly bent and required complete disassembly to repair. The manufacturer could have avoided this and my next HOUR of repairing with a simple plastic tie/strap (cent) attached end to end to the blinds to prevent the unit from breaking! Side screws were also loosened during assembly (not shipping) 2) Instruction will challenge even technicians Correct grammar and punctuation but very confusing, not detailed enough 3) Design allows mounting Mounting holes no more than 32 inches apart. This is not stated anywhere. Make sure your mounting surfaces allow this. The actual width of the bracket is 36 inches, but the width of the lampshade itself is only 34.5 inches. 4) This blind is not shown on Achimonline.com which I found odd so I called Achim to see if it was discontinued. I made 12 calls in total and found it almost impossible to speak to anyone let alone offer to help. . When I was able to contact Achim customer service I asked if this blind was for sale (since it wasn't on their website). The representative told me she didn't know the name. She later pointed out that her website only shows what is blind to her customers and that those customers have a login to see it. I said I'm a customer. She pointed out that I wasn't a Revain customer, I was. I pointed out that Achim Home Furnishings themselves sold it through Revain. I found it AMAZING that they didn't understand who their own customers really were. I was NOT impressed. Eventually someone else from Achim took my call and had to relay my information and contact someone with DETAILED knowledge of the design of this product (I wanted to fix the blinds). You promised to call me. Instead, I received an email with a link to a YouTube installation video (NOT what I asked for or needed). I put a curtain up. Online images do NOT reflect the amount of light passing through. About 50% of the scene from the window is visible through the blinds (I agree, but online images show complete ambiguity). The right side handle for adjusting the blind stop position no longer works (due to damage). Block #2: Shipped by USPS in good condition. The curtain worked great. These blinds replaced the first unit I returned through Revain. Device #3: Since the exchange worked great, I ordered a third blind today.
