I am very satisfied with these rain pants. I had previously bought name brand clothes that were supposed to be the best around and although they fit perfectly around the waist, they were made out of so much excess material that they looked ridiculous on me. Seriously, 25 pounds made me look heavier. It's not that rain pants are meant to flatter you, but they shouldn't make a fool of you either. I am happy to report that they are being made more proportionate. I was careful with the size chart because according to them I would need a size small when I am almost always tall. (5 feet 6 inches, 160 pounds). But I ordered a small one and it paired perfectly with fleece lined leggings! They're a bit long, but not so long that I can't wear them. They also have pockets, which many other rain pants don't have. They have velcro straps at the ankles so you can tighten them. Now comes the real test during a rainstorm, which I haven't had a chance to test yet, but dripping water does. You won't get wet and the description includes all the features you need to waterproof. So I'll update this review if they don't work.
