These things fail Computers & Accessories
I bought about 8 of these HD aluminum cases from OWC. I retired all 8 due to reliability issues. Even if the block is set to "independent disks" it has a single disk problem, you can't just take it out and move on. Also, the switch on the back that selects the mode isn't set properly and shows an incorrect setting. Avoid this particular case. I have to say that OWC is otherwise a great company and I have many of their 2 and 4 bay dark gray cases that have been running for years with no problems.
