Glue doesn't work

I wiped the spot with rubbing alcohol, waited for it to dry and then stuck the pad on...the adhesive strip didn't stick to the car dashboard. I've applied this type of finish to my other cars in the past using the same process (products that advertise 3M glue) with no problems. This product is cheap and unnecessary. bring it back
